Advanced Biofuels Conference 2019

The Swedish Bioenergy Association (SVEBIO) heartily welcomes participants to the beautiful city of Stockholm to attend our 5th Advanced Biofuels Conference on 17-19 September, 2019.

Advanced biofuels for Europe are key for reducing emissions in the national transport sectors. There is commercial breakthroughs in new technologies, new policy measures adopted and changing business models, all which of are no longer on the horizon.

This year, we invite you to participate in latest developments in European policy, energy system transition to renewable fuels, new technologies & partnerships – with leading companies presented. There is increasing multitude on vehicles for neat biofuels like HVO100, bio-CNG, E85, ED95, B100 to complement today’s biofuels blended with conventional fossil fuels.

The Advanced Biofuels Conference is intended for people creating a sustainable transport sector. Speakers and delegates will be policy makers and politicians, leading scientists, researchers, engineers, as well as executives and representatives from companies and organizations. The conference will bring:

• Two conference days, six sessions and >30 high-level speakers covering land, aviation and maritime transport sectors for blended and high concentrated biofuels.
• Pre-conference study visits preliminary to Research In Sweden (RISE) Science Park and Scania Production Facility and Henriksdal, one of the Nordic’s largest biogas plants.
• Mini-expo with stands for networking and making business contacts, and an exclusive conference evening dinner cruise, exploring the waterways of Stockholm.
• Workshop organized by ETIP Bioenergy and RISE on Financing and investing in biofuels with innovative, advanced technologies for upscaling of biorefineries for large-scale production.
