This event invites professionals from various fields such as research, industry, plant engineering, waste management, and public institutions. The goal is to discuss current challenges throughout the value chain related to biorefineries within a circular economy, explore the future potential in Austria, and showcase best practices in an innovative environment.

      • Insights into legal foundations by Prof. Wilhelm Bergthaler (JKU Linz)
      • Significance of the term “waste” for a functioning circular economy by Jürgen Frank (Land OÖ)
      • Status quo and potential of residue utilization by Ulrich Kral (Environmental Agency)
  • Lunch Break
  • Technological challenges and solutions for the utilization of secondary raw materials and by-products:
